Make a Satiating Smoothie That'll Bring Your Sass Back!

This recipe is one that I drink daily- usually as my breakfast or lunch- sometimes as a meal replacement if I know I’m going to be out and about during dinner time. The Fab part of the recipe is adapted from the book Body Love by Kelly Leveque

Her Fab Four smoothie recommendation is formulated from a powerful blend of nutritional science and the psychology of how we think about food (or why we obsess about it).  So I’ve dōTERRA-ized the Fab Four formula to take advantage of all the goodness of essential oils as well!

Tired of looking at the labels on products and worrying about the safety of your baby? I hear ya, friend. That was me 9 years ago when my oldest was born.

Thankfully, I’ve found 100% confidence in essential oils that I know I can trust to use on me, my husband, and my babies.

Try these 2 DIY Recipes out and feel confident knowing that your baby is safe.

Baby Powder

Ingredients:
½ cup corn starch
½ cup Arrowroot powder
1 drop Roman Chamomile oil
1–2 drops Lavender oil
¼ cup finely ground oats

  1. Combine all ingredients and mix well. *If you don't have finely ground oats, combine ingredients in blender and pulse until finely ground. 

  2. Put ingredients in shaker style bottle.  *Use an empty spice jar with sifter lid for easy application.

Diaper Cream

Ingredients:
¼ cup virgin coconut oil
5 drops Lavender oil
3 drops Melaleuca (Tea Tree) oil

  1. Melt coconut oil in glass cup using microwave or double boiler.

  2. Add essential oils and stir briefly.

  3. Allow mixture to cool to restore the original consistency of the coconut oil.

  4. Store in a sealable glass container and leave in cool place. Apply as needed.
